FIIO Darkside Mini

The FIIO Darkside Mini is a compact, active power supply with built-in noise reduction, specially designed for high-end audio equipment. By actively reducing interference and electrical noise from the mains, the Darkside Mini ensures a cleaner and more stable power supply. With noise reduction of up to 40dB, it is suitable for portable music players, DACs, headphone amplifiers, and other audio devices that operate at 5V.

Active noise reduction up to 40 dB

The Darkside Mini uses intelligent Active Noise Cancellation technology, similar to the principle behind noise-canceling headphones. A special chip detects electrical interference and generates an opposing signal in real time to cancel it out. Combined with additional filtering, noise reduction of up to 40 dB is achieved, with performance that, according to FIIO, is comparable to that of linear power supplies.

Stable and clean power supply

Thanks to a design with a low floating ground voltage, interference from common-mode ground loops and ripple in the supply voltage is minimized. This helps reduce unwanted noise in sensitive audio circuits and ensures a more stable power environment, which can contribute to a quieter background and better reproduction of subtle details.

Versatile Connectivity

The Darkside Mini delivers a stabilized 5V power supply with up to 2.5A and features a standard 5.5 × 2.1mm DC connector. Included adapters for USB-C, USB-A, and various DC formats make it suitable for a wide range of devices. The power supply supports a line voltage of 100 to 240V, making it suitable for international use.

Compact and safe to use

Measuring just 71 × 44 × 42.5 mm and weighing approximately 133 grams, the Darkside Mini takes up very little space. The power supply complies with the international Level VI standard for energy efficiency and features protection against short circuits, overcurrent, and overvoltage.

The FIIO Darkside Mini is therefore a practical power supply upgrade for audio equipment that can benefit from a cleaner and more stable 5V power supply.
