FIIO DM15

The FIIO DM15 is a high-quality portable CD player that combines the classic experience of listening to CDs with modern audio technology and extensive connectivity options. With two AKM AK4493SEQ DAC chips, a powerful headphone amplifier, and Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Lossless, the DM15 offers significantly more capabilities than a traditional Discman. Thanks to its built-in battery, USB DAC functionality, and digital outputs, it can be used both on the go and as part of a hi-fi system.

Dual AKM DAC and Powerful Headphone Amplifier

The DM15 uses two AKM AK4493SEQ DAC chips for accurate and detailed music playback. The built-in headphone amplifier delivers up to 1,100 mW per channel at 32 ohms via the 4.4 mm balanced output in Desktop Mode. It also features a standard 3.5 mm headphone output, allowing for the connection of a wide variety of headphones and in-ear monitors.

CD Playback, USB DAC, and Bluetooth

In addition to playing CDs, the DM15 can be used as an external USB DAC for a computer, smartphone, or tablet, with support for PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256. Via Bluetooth 5.4, audio from CDs or a connected USB source can be streamed wirelessly to compatible headphones or speakers. Supported codecs include aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, and aptX HD.

The DM15 also features analog line outputs and optical and coaxial digital outputs. This allows it to be connected to an external DAC, amplifier, or other audio system.

Digitizing CDs and Customizing Sound

With the built-in CD ripping function, CDs can be digitized directly. The DM15 also offers eight EQ presets and three bass settings, allowing for a total of 24 different sound combinations. The ESP function helps prevent playback interruptions when the player is moved.

Compact and versatile

The DM15 features an aluminum chassis with a glass finish, a 0.96-inch color display, and physical control buttons. The built-in battery provides up to approximately six hours of CD playback and supports fast charging via USB-C. In Desktop Mode, the player can operate directly from an external power source without constantly draining the battery.
