FIIO M25 (VERITA)

The FIIO M25 is a high-end portable music player that combines the performance of a desktop DAC and headphone amplifier with the flexibility of a modern Android player. Featuring a flagship AKM DAC configuration, a fully differential audio architecture, and balanced output power of up to 1700 mW per channel, the M25 is designed for demanding headphones and high-quality music playback. Its powerful Snapdragon processor, large touchscreen, and extensive streaming capabilities make it suitable for both home use and on the go.

Dual AKM AK4499EX DACs

The M25 utilizes AKM’s high-end DAC architecture, featuring an AK4191EQ digital processor and two AK4499EX DAC chips—one for each audio channel. By keeping digital and analog signal processing separate and driving both channels independently, interference and crosstalk are minimized. This contributes to an accurate, detailed sound reproduction with a wide dynamic range and a refined soundstage.

Powerful fully differential amplification

The M25’s audio architecture is based on technologies from FIIO’s desktop equipment. From the DAC to the headphone output, the audio channels remain separate, while a powerful amplifier section delivers up to 1700 mW per channel. A high-performance FPGA and specially developed femtosecond clock oscillators ensure precise digital signal processing with minimal jitter.

Fast Android player with extensive storage

The Qualcomm QCS6490 processor, based on the Snapdragon 778G architecture, is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This gives the M25 ample performance for large music libraries, streaming services, and other Android apps. The 5.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 × 2160 pixels ensures clear and comfortable operation.

Extensive sound settings

With the built-in 31-band parametric equalizer, sound reproduction can be precisely adjusted to the headphones being used and personal preferences. In addition, the M25 supports AUTO EQ and various exclusive AKM sound profiles. Thanks to the XMOS XU316 USB interface, the player can also be used as a high-quality external USB DAC.

The FIIO M25 thus combines an advanced AKM DAC, powerful headphone amplification, and a fast Android environment into a single versatile portable music player.
