FIIO QX11

The FIIO QX11 is a compact USB DAC and headphone amplifier that combines high-quality music playback with extensive gaming features. With two ESS ES9069Q DAC chips, a powerful fully balanced amplifier, and a maximum output power of 800 mW per channel, the QX11 delivers impressive performance in a chassis weighing just 36 grams. Thanks to its separate Hi-Fi and Gaming modes, it’s suitable for both critical music listening and gaming, as well as everyday multimedia use.

Dual ESS ES9069Q DACs and Powerful Amplification

The QX11 utilizes two ESS ES9069Q DAC chips with support for PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and native DSD512. The amplifier section consists of two Texas Instruments OPA1692 and four OPA1622 op-amps, combined with a carefully designed power supply circuit for low distortion, high dynamics, and a quiet background.

Via the 4.4mm balanced headphone output, the QX11 delivers up to 800mW per channel at 32 ohms in Desktop Mode. It also features a 3.5mm output for standard headphones and in-ear monitors. With two gain settings, the amplifier is suitable for a wide range of headphones.

Hi-Fi and Gaming in One Device

In addition to standard Hi-Fi mode, the QX11 features a special Gaming Mode with four sound profiles for FPS, ACT, MOBA, and MUG games. This allows the sound reproduction to be tailored to different game genres.

For communication while gaming, the QX11 features a built-in microphone with AI ENC noise cancellation. It also supports headsets with a microphone and controls via the 3.5mm jack, making the QX11 suitable for calls and online gaming as well.

Desktop Mode and Dual USB-C Ports

The QX11 features two USB-C ports, one of which is dedicated to external power. In Desktop Mode, this allows the amplifier to deliver its maximum power. Additionally, the power port supports USB Power Delivery up to 45 watts, enabling a connected smartphone or tablet to be charged while listening.

Color Display and Comprehensive Audio Settings

The built-in 1.14-inch color display shows, among other things, the volume, sample rate, gain setting, and active sound mode. The multifunctional rotary knob and programmable shortcut key provide direct access to the most important functions.

Additional settings are available via FIIO Control and the web interface, including a 10-band parametric equalizer and AUTO EQ for automatically adjusting the frequency response to the headphones being used. The 3.5mm jack can also be used as a coaxial digital output for an external DAC.
