The iBasso PB6 Macaw is a powerful portable headphone amplifier that combines the warm sound of tubes with modern precision. Equipped with four Raytheon military-grade JAN6418 vacuum tubes, the PB6 offers natural, rich, and dynamic sound reproduction in a fully balanced 4-channel architecture.
Thanks to the dual amplifier modes – Tube and Class AB – the user can choose between a warm, smooth tube sound or the crisp clarity of an OPAMP circuit. The 8.4V high-voltage battery provides a clean, stable power supply for maximum detail reproduction, while the option of 12V external power allows for desktop-level performance with up to 2300mW + 2300mW @ 32Ω.
