FIIO RR13

The FIIO RR13 is a compact, portable FM stereo radio that combines classic radio with modern audio technology. With its retro look, mechanical backlit tuning dial, and analog controls, the RR13 brings back the familiar feel of a classic radio in an exceptionally compact design.

The RR13 uses the professional Silicon Labs Si4831 FM radio chip for stable and accurate reception. The built-in, specially shaped antenna is complemented by a detachable telescopic 3.5mm antenna, which can further improve reception. The radio supports FM frequencies from 87 to 108 MHz and a second band from 76 to 90 MHz.

For audio playback, the RR13 features two built-in 1-watt 8Ω speakers and separate amplifiers for the left and right channels. The specially tuned FIIO DDB chip handles the analog audio and amplification sections. The 3.5mm headphone output also allows for private listening.

The RR13 is more than just an FM radio. In AMP mode, the device can also be used as a compact headphone amplifier. A compatible USB audio source can be connected via the USB-C port for this purpose. The BASS switch also offers various sound settings, including bass boost and a 3D surround effect.

Power is supplied by a replaceable and rechargeable 10440 lithium battery with a capacity of 450 mAh. In radio mode, the RR13 offers up to approximately 7 hours of use with headphones and approximately 4 hours via the built-in speakers. In AMP mode, battery life via headphones extends to approximately 18 hours. A built-in sleep timer can automatically turn off the radio after 30 or 60 minutes.

With its aluminum front panel, AG-glass back, physical rotary knobs, and compact dimensions of approximately 43.4 x 85.6 x 16.4 mm, the FIIO RR13 is a striking combination of retro design and modern audio technology. Weighing only about 76 grams, you can easily take it with you wherever you go.
