At its core, the WARMER R2R is both an R2R DAC and a tube buffer stage, designed to fit effortlessly into a variety of hi-fi setups. With USB, optical, and coaxial digital inputs, complemented by both RCA and XLR line outputs, it offers the flexibility to connect seamlessly to modern sources and classic components. This versatility makes it easy to integrate the WARMER R2R into your system without compromise.

For those who desire a richer and more expressive sound, the tube buffer stage is powered by four JJ Electronic E88CC tubes from Slovakia. They operate on a robust ±28V power supply and have a long life of no less than 10,000 hours. The carefully optimized classic tube buffer circuit enriches the music with a sweet, organic texture and adds fullness and warmth without compromising clarity.

The digital heart is formed by FiiO's own fully differential, true 24-bit R2R DAC design. This four-way R2R architecture consists of 192 high-precision thin-film resistors with a tolerance of 0.1% and extremely low drift. This gives the WARMER R2R its unique and compelling sound character. Both NOS mode for natural reproduction and oversampling mode for extra precision are available, so you can choose what best suits your listening preferences and music style.

The WARMER R2R is also visually impressive. The extra-large analog VU meters with warm, retro backlighting respond dynamically to the music and move to the rhythm of the sound. It is a tangible and visual reminder that music should not only be heard but also felt, making every listening session something special.

All this is supported by a carefully designed 46W linear power supply with a toroidal transformer. Toroidal transformers are known for their high efficiency, low magnetic leakage, and minimal noise, providing the WARMER R2R with exceptionally clean and stable power. The result is a pure, detailed, and effortlessly smooth sound, in which both the music and the character of the tubes come into their own.
